Call for Photographers - 2027 Exhibition

We are currently seeking two photographers to be featured in our first exhibition of 2027.
For this open call, we invite photographers to explore the theme “Lines” in any direction they choose. We are honoured to have Eric Bouvet as our guest juror.
We are interested in work that makes us look twice. Whether through an unexpected subject, an unusual visual language, or a fresh way of organising what is seen, we want to discover photographs that create their own visual logic and leave something to think about. Please note that we reserve the right to present a solo exhibition if a submission demonstrates particularly strong artistic merit and a unique, singular vision.
Printing and exhibition promotion will be fully covered for the selected artists. Those wishing to attend the opening night are welcome to make their own travel arrangements.
To apply, please submit a portfolio of 10 to 25 photographs in a PDF file, as well as a biography and an artist statement. All genres are welcome. Please note that a contribution of 25 EUR is required to support the administration of the open call.
Exhibition date: 29 January - 31 March 2027
Venue: Millepiani in Rome
Monday - Friday, 9am - 7pm, free admission
Opening reception: 29 January 2027, 6pm
About our guest juror, Eric Bouvet
We are excited to welcome Eric Bouvet as our guest juror. An award-winning French photojournalist and member of The VII Foundation, Bouvet is a five-time World Press Photo winner, recipient of the Frontline Club Award, a two-time recipient of the Visa d’Or News, and the Bayeux-Calvados Award for War Correspondents.
Bouvet began his career at the Gamma photo agency in the 1980s before becoming a freelance photographer in 1990. Over the course of his career, he has documented conflicts and major events across Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Chechnya, Sudan, Somalia, Lebanon, Ukraine and many other parts of the world. His work has been widely published internationally, including in Time, Life, Newsweek, Paris Match, Stern, The New York Times Magazine and The Sunday Times Magazine.
